February 2018

Our next talk is on Monday 19th March 2018 at 7pm in the Lower Laing Building, Newburgh High Street.  Sophie Nicol, Historic Environment Officer of Tay Landscape Partnership, will speak about "The Tay Landscape Partnership-from hillfort to clay building".  This promises to be a fascinating insight into Tayside's early history.

Our following talk will be on Monday 16th April at 7pm in the Lower Laing Building, by David Powell, archivist, about Dundee publisher D.C. Thomson's archives.  Come along and find out more about Oor Wullie, Beryl the Peril, the Beezer, the Sunday Post and much more!

There is a £2 admission charge for the talks and light refreshments are provided.

The Laing building is open on Sunday and Wednesday afternoons until 4pm.  Why not pop in to explore Newburgh and district's past heritage, whether it's family history research or seeing photos and exhibits from bygone Newburgh.
